New York - Day Four (Final Day)

Day four brought about a bit of a burn...  It was a scorcher here in New York!

We visited the Statue of Liberty, Central Park and took a bus tour of the uptown area, which included the Yankee Stadium.

New York - Day Two

Day Two arrived and it was a busy one - much akin to the city itself...

Today we visited the Top of the Rock, Central Park and Madame Tussauds...

Top of the Rock at the Rockafeller Center

We started the day with awesome views over the city from the Rockafeller Center:

 Central Park

We then went for a bike ride around central park - a long way (6 miles) in the heat of the day...

Madame Tussauds

Our final stop of the day was Madame Tussauds, in our first picture Dave is with is a look-a-like, Brad Pitt...

Me with SponbeBob, although not quite sure why he was included in a wax museum as he was made of plastic...

A further series of pictures from Madam Tussards can be seen in the next post...

And so it begins...

So, the fruition of months of planning all comes good at last! Following an epic 13 hour travelling, we arrived in New York to discover the awesome view of the Empire State Building from our hotel window (on the 17th floor)...

And the view is improved somewhat by the addition of 2 stallions:
