Day Five - The First Drive



So today we picked up our car rental from Hertz Newark Airport ahead of a 4 hour drive to Washington DC. The pictures below are taken from a service station around half way through the journey. We both managed to drive the car without any incidents and without driving on the left hand side of the road, not bad considering neither of us has driven in America before.

 



 

All in all a pretty nerve wracking but successful day. Now we're outside of New York we might not post everyday as there isn't as much going on in Washington DC, but we'll keep you updated...
